Chile, Nueva Zelandia y Singapur : socios del nuevo mundo en el Pacífico

Abstract

This paper analyzes in depth and with a focus on the future the dynamic context, relationships, scope and impacts of the strategy designed by these new world partners –called the Economic Partnership Agreement-Pacific 3 to be formalized during 2005– to jointly face the challenges that presents globalization to small democratic countries with open and competitive economies. Especially in terms of the promotion, defense and action regarding their common visions and interests in the multiple areas of the Pacific and in their effort to enhance and capitalize on their advantages that allow them to increase the development and well-being of their populations.
