Abstract

In addition to all their tragic consequences, earthquakes are a moment of detention, a pause that allows an opening to different symbolic and emotional domains, etc. That leave the weaknessof the legal, political and urban systems among others exposed. In The city basic supports of maintainance are reinstated and tested in these crucial moments.
