Copyrights

Revista de Arquitectura is an open-access journal edited by the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Chile. It is published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International. This means that authors grant rights for the publication of their articles, and anyone can share that content while acknowledging its authorship and original location, providing a link to it. The detailed terms of the license can be reviewed here.

The copyright transfer agreement to Revista de Arquitectura implies:

1. Authors retain the copyright of their articles and grant Revista de Arquitectura the right to first publish them under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International
2. The distribution right allows Revista de Arquitectura to publish the approved articles in its digital and physical editions, allow their download by third parties, translate them into other languages, and use the texts and images for promotional purposes. In addition, the authors are authorized to exercise the necessary rights for their publication, editing, reproduction, adaptation, and distribution, both in print and digital format, through the same journal.
3. Authors may make additional arrangements or negotiations to publish their article non-exclusively in other media (for example, as book chapters or in institutional repositories), as long as they refer to the first publication made in Revista de Arquitectura.

The contents, opinions, and viewpoints expressed are the sole responsibility of the authors of the articles and are not necessarily endorsed by Revista de Arquitectura.
