Abstract

The magazine Auca (1965-1986) reopened architectural debate in Chile. It ratified the principles of modern architecture and until 1973 it was considered a tool key in diminishing the deep social gap. The urban and housing short ages were a favorite topic, promoting popular participation in architectural occupation.
