Abstract

Throughout his profesional practice and teaching, Prof. Jorge Iglesis, has been commited to a variety of issues that conform the spirit of his work; the challenge to discover a local identidy and to establish a regional modern culture; a social and environmental commitment; the recognition of vernacular architecture; the appreciation of history and the challenges of new technologies adapted to the local means.
