El acontecimiento de la maja chilota: Chichería rural en Manao

Understanding rural life in Chiloé, from an architectural point of view, supposes experiences lived in the territory that stand out perceptually and allow the visitor to be linked together with the inhabitant. The events, the constructions they house, and the objectual results of their interactions, shape a living heritage, tangible as well as intangible, that deserves to be understood, valued and protected. The premises in the event of the apple pestle for the production of chicha are converged in the present title project, and therefrom new ways of inhabiting the rural Chilote territory collectively based on the local culture, are proposed.
